Barb Streiftau is a Principal with Odgers Interim. Based in Ottawa, she focuses on identifying, assessing, and delivering executive talent to meet the interim leadership needs of private and public sector clients in the National Capital Region and from coast to coast.
Before joining Odgers Berndtson, Barb had a successful 31-year career with a recruitment and staffing firm, where she achieved several professional accomplishments. She was instrumental in launching and growing the firm’s temporary staffing and professional services divisions, which successfully served the federal government and the private sector. Throughout her career, Barb has led teams and has executed critical talent priorities across the human resources lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring.
On a personal level, Barb enjoys dance, arts, and theatre performances and was once a professional ballet dancer. She spends much of her time in the outdoors and enjoys travelling, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
