When working with a new organization, I invest a significant amount of time understanding the business and what makes them unique. Then I get to know the people and evaluate where I can contribute most effectively. I have been able to achieve objectives quickly through these two simple steps. Talent Acquisition is a unique process whereby you need to fully understand the business and the needs of the business before you can introduce the right strategy and talent into the mix. By investing the time to understand the overall business strategies, I have been successful in implementing overall HR strategies. I enjoy working with organizations that understand this and support the hand-in-hand development of HR with the overall business objectives.

I am a dual USA/Canadian citizen that has been fortunate to live in New York, New Jersey, Nashville, Toronto and Florida. I have firmly planted roots for my family in Toronto and am grateful to be here. I have run a public company and been on a Board of Directors. Basketball has been my passion for over 30 years, and I can hold my own at a Poker table!

Your superpower for managing through a crisis:
I am a rational thinker with the ability to stay focused during high-pressure situations. My focus stays on the employees while providing support to executives to help them navigate through difficult circumstances. By utilizing my vast network, I have been able to build strategy based on collected data and knowledge, in addition to having a solid understanding of the business I am working in. Some examples of this experience came from being instrumental in strategy through SARS, the economic crisis of 2008, and COVID-19, among many other start-up related issues.
