Filling Critical Leadership Roles & Skill Gaps When Your Organization is Cutting Back
For organizations facing layoffs, hiring freezes, or major re-organizations, this may not feel like the right time to bring in a new senior leader, but the need to be continually transforming is not going away. Now, more than ever, companies require executives who can help them innovate and pivot. That’s why bringing in an interim executive can offer several advantages right now – providing companies with a much-needed skillset for a temporary period, with no long-term commitment required.
Join Emily Bell, Principal at Odgers Interim, and Ross Woledge, Partner and Head of the CFO Practice at Odgers Berndtson, as they discuss how interim hires work and share examples of organizations who are tapping pre-screened interim executives for specific roles and projects in operations, technology, HR and finance to help them lead through the current environment and prepare for a post-Covid world.
In this video, we cover:
- When to use an interim executive over a permanent hire
- What you can expect from a seasoned interim executive
- Where interim executives are bringing the most value to organizations during this pandemic
